STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Forward Mario Austin reversed course again and said Monday he'll return to Mississippi State for his junior season instead of entering the NBA draft.

The 6-foot-9 Austin averaged team-highs of 16.1 points and 7.6 rebounds, leading the Bulldogs to the Southeastern Conference tournament championship and a school-record 27 victories.

After the Bulldogs lost to Texas in the second round of the NCAA tournament, Austin said he would stay in college another year.

Two weeks later, he changed his mind and said he wanted to turn pro. But he didn't hire an agent, leaving open the possibility for a return to school.
