New Orleans, La. - University of New Orleans freshman designated hitter Chris Adams added a pair of post season honors this week. Adams, named All-Sun Belt Conference first team last month earned ABCA All-Region second team honors and Collegiate Baseball/Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America Honorable Mention honors.

Adams led the team with a .353 batting average in 53 games played and led the Sun Belt Conference with a .448 average in 23 games. Adams had 10 doubles, three home run, three triples and 38 RBI. He tied for team high honors with a .513 slugging percentage and was second on the team with 23 walks.
